6s - watch videos in 'Links' section, for the Math topics covered so far

7s & 8s - Find the square root of: 121 (show all work - use reference sheet in 'Reference Section'), and

Use Order of Operations to correctly solve:

6s - 30 - (20 ÷ 5) x 4 + 10 =

7s & 8s - 12 ÷ 2 + (3 x 6) - 5 + 3³ =

Sep. 27th -

6s - Round the following numbers (use 'Rounding Numbers' sheet to help - can find in 'Reference Section')

  • 268.16 (round to 1s column)
  • 569.53 (round to 10s column)
  • 964.28 (round to 10ths column)
  • 26.596 (round to 100ths column)

7s & 8s : Use 'Divisibility Rules' chart (can find in 'Reference Section') to tell if the following numbers are divisible:

  • 4365 - divisible by 5?
  • 9123 - divisible by 3?
  • 6363 - divisible by 6?
  • 5842 - divisible by 9?

Identify as PRIME or COMPOSITE numbers

6s: Put in order, least to greatest, 1/2 , 1/8 , 1/6 , 1/3

7s: 8/6 + 2/4 =

8s: 1 2/4 + 6/3 =

Sep. 18th -

6s: Model 3/9 (draw a picture - use a rectangle)

7s: 3/4 + 2/8 = (*hint: find common denominators; use X chart in binder)

8s: 5/9 + 3/6 = (*hint: find common (same) denominators; use X chart in binder)
